Firm founder Ruth M. Swenson earned a B.A. in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, an M.S. in Education from Illinois State University, where she focused on special education and behavioral disorders in children, and a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She has been licensed to practice law in Arizona since 1986 and has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court - Family Law Division. Ms. Swenson is also a Certified Hearing Officer for the Department of Education.
